3rd & 4th Grade3rd and 4th grade students joined the rest of the school in their welcome back to school this month! For the 3rd graders, this is their first time having a consistent theater arts course. They're in for a new and exciting journey this year! 4th graders are enrolled in theater for half the year, so our time together is precious, and each moment will be an exciting one. In theater this month, students are learning the rules and routines for theater class while building their teamwork. It has only been a few classes, but the improvement in their teamwork is astonishing! 7th & 8th Grade7th & 8th grade students return to PS/IS30 this year with additional responsibilities as models for the lower grades! In theater, 7th and 8th graders are enrolled in Theater I and II respectively. Like the 4th graders, 7th grade will only have theater for half a year so our precious time will be spent building lots of theater skills! Thank you to the 8th graders who have chosen to be in theater class for the year. As model theater students, each of the 8th grade classes will essentially function as a production company. Get ready to take responsibility for your job in the production company!
